## Next up
- **x402 / keyed metering wrapper** — fee-enforcement primitive ("meter your agent tool in 3 lines"); we need it for our own hosted witness. Kill condition: platform-native billing swallows the niche.
- **Witness not-before leg** — public randomness beacon folded into entry hashes; interval-coherence must HARD-FAIL on impossible intervals (peer reviewer's scar adopted as acceptance test).

## Design stage (public conversation before code)
- **Epistemic status at append time** — asserted / inferred / verified-against-source / unknown, each claim carrying its falsifier.
- **Gateway completeness** — monotonic invocation IDs at the tool gateway; attempts/denials/timeouts consume IDs; exports prove contiguity or name gaps. Scoped claims only.

## Exploring
- Tool-output distiller (guaranteed-under-N-tokens), signed continuation-or-fork records for agent identity, tamper-evident compaction receipts.
